Truffle chocolate is a category of chocolate, named after its shape imitating the famous French ingredient "truffle". Originating from France, it has a long history of production and consumption in Europe. This chocolate also has a beautiful story: it is said that a Spanish princess married into the French royal family, but due to her first departure from her homeland, she did not want to eat after marriage. In order to alleviate the princess's homesickness, the royal chef of France incorporated Spanish cocoa into the production of French desserts and, on a whim, created a unique chocolate in the shape of the precious ingredient "truffle" loved by the French royal aristocracy. This type of chocolate is named Truffes, which means "truffles" in French. Later, the method of making this type of chocolate spread to the people and has been preserved to this day< Br>

Steps to make Truffle chocolate
- 1. Prepare the ingredients. I use Fafna dark chocolate with a cocoa butter content of 67%
- 2. Pour the light cream into the milk pot, take out the vanilla seeds and put them into the light cream. Put the vanilla seeds into the light cream and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes. Cook the flavor of the vanilla seeds into the cream, then remove the vanilla seeds
- 3. Put the chocolate coins into hot cream and stir until the chocolate melts
- 4. After the chocolate melts, add butter and continue stirring until the butter also melts. If the temperature is too low, you can put the milk pot in hot water at around 50 degrees Celsius and melt it over water
- 5. Melt the butter and continue stirring to make the chocolate batter shiny
- 6. Then add rum
- 7. Continue stirring evenly, then refrigerate in the refrigerator for about half an hour to allow the chocolate to set, but still remain soft
- 8. Pinch the chocolate into balls and roll it in cocoa powder, covering the surface with cocoa powder. You can also dip matcha powder and coconut to make different flavors of truffle chocolate. The shape does not need to be particularly round, as the shape of truffles is not very round either.
- 9. Put the prepared truffle chocolate into a box and refrigerate it. Then take it out and enjoy it at any time.
