Steps to make Mixed Sugar Mooncakes
- 1. Pour sesame oil into the pot, cook until the oil has a fragrant aroma, bubbles appear on the surface, and light smoke slightly emits. Turn off the heat, cool and set aside for later use
- 2. Pour water into the pot, add the prepared brown sugar, turn on the heat, stir while cooking, until the brown sugar dissolves, turn off the heat, and let it air dry until there is no heat in the brown sugar water
- 3. Prepare 250g of flour in a large bowl, add baking soda and mix well.
- 4. Pour in cooled sesame oil
- 5. Add brown sugar water in batches, mix well, knead into a smooth dough, and knead for a while longer
- 6. Put it in a fresh-keeping bag and let it relax for about 30 minutes
- 7. Divide into four parts and knead them into circles separately
- 8. Dip an appropriate amount of sesame seeds on the surface
- 9. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees above and below, and send it to the preheated oven. 15 minutes for the upper and middle layers, then move to the middle layer for about 10 minutes
