别名:紫菊、阶前菊、竹节草、马兰菊、钱鳅串、红梗菜、路边菊、蟛蜞菊

禁忌人群:孕妇慎食。

基本介绍:本品为菊科植物马兰的全草及根,多年生草本,生于山坡、田边、路旁,分布于全国各地。茎直立,有时略带红色,表面粗糙,两面有短毛,春天摘其嫩茎叶作蔬菜。夏、秋季采收全草,洗净,鲜用或晒干。

功效与作用:甘、平、微寒,无毒。清热止血,有抗菌消炎作用。适用于吐血鼻衄,急性肝炎,咽喉、扁桃体炎,腮腺炎和乳腺炎等化脓性炎症。

营养价值:马兰头嫩茎叶含水分、钙、磷、铁、胡萝卜素、钾、维生素B、尼克酸等。

存储:通风阴凉处保存。

食用方法:烹调中,可与多种荤素料搭配,但加热时间不宜长,旺火速成为佳。配烧菜时,可用少炒煸作垫底或围边。鲜红梗马兰根或全草适量,洗净捣烂绞汁,以温水冲服,或大量全草煮汁服。亦有用青壳鸭蛋与马兰头同煮,煮熟后碎其壳再煮至鸭蛋色,吃蛋喝汤。
