西多士
由吐司片做的“西多士”,是我家小朋友最爱的早餐之一,曾经有连吃一周也不腻的记录。她爱吃,我也爱做,因为用料和做法实在简单,而且吃法多样,可以直接搭配水果和糖浆、或炼乳吃,也可以做成奶酪夹心、果酱或花生酱夹心,都非常美味。
“西多士”是粤语中的外来词,由“多士”(toast)音译而来,在香港茶餐厅、大排档里非常受欢迎。刚出锅的西多士颜色金黄,热气腾腾,咬一口,既厚实又香软,甜蜜的滋味迅速占领味蕾,让人特别满足,彻底忘记减肥为何物。接下来一起看看做法吧。

  • 鸡蛋3个
  • 黄油(或植物油)少许
  • 冰糖糖浆2勺

Steps to make 西多士

  • 1.准备好各种材料。4片吐司差不多需要2个半鸡蛋的量。冰糖糖浆是做好了浇汁调味用的。
  • 2.鸡蛋打入碗中,搅匀。
  • 3.将不粘平底锅中加入少许黄油(或植物油),用小火融化。用黄油的话,成品更有奶香。
  • 4.将吐司片在蛋液中迅速蘸一下。注意蘸一下即可,不要泡在蛋液里。
  • 5.翻面同样快速蘸一下,提起吐司片,让多余的蛋液流回盘中。
  • 6.放入刚才预热的不粘锅中,开小火慢慢煎。刚放入锅中不要翻动。
  • 7.底面凝固后翻面,把另一面也煎至金黄凝固。
  • 8.盛出装盘就可以啦。当然这么吃的话不够美味,还需要最后一步。
  • 9.撒上洗净的水果,浇上冰糖糖浆就可以啦。甘汁园的这款冰糖糖浆清甜可口,甜度适中,不会甜到齁,搭配西多士吃正好。
