Steps to make XO Sauce Seaweed Rice Rolls

  • 1. Cut off the old skin from the roots of asparagus, blanch it in hot water for more than ten seconds, and remove it.
  • 2. Heat the tomatoes in hot water and peel them.
  • 3. Cut the peeled tomatoes and asparagus into small cubes.
  • 4. A bowl of steamed rice.
  • 5. Put a little oil in the pot and stir fry the rice until loose. Stir fry rice in a non stick pan so that it won't stick to the pan with minimal oil.
  • 6. Stir fry the rice and add tomatoes. The rice I steamed is quite hard and can absorb some tomato juice.
  • 7. Stir fry until the tomato juice is completely absorbed.
  • 8. Add diced asparagus and stir fry evenly.
  • 9. Add XO sauce.
  • 10. Mix well.
  • 11. Spread the fried rice on the seaweed, roll it up and shape it.
  • 12. Cut into sections after shaping, and put a little XO sauce on the Rice and vegetable roll again.
