Steps to make Iron plate tofu
- 1. Prepare the required materials.
- 2. Cut the tofu into 1 centimeter thick pieces.
- 3. Pour cooking oil into the pot and cook until 50% hot, then add tofu.
- 4. Fry until both sides are golden brown.
- 5. Remove and drain the oil.
- 6. Cut pork belly into thick pieces, green and red peppers into triangles, mushrooms in half, and onions in circles.
- 7. Put the pork belly into the oil pot.
- 8. Stir fry the oil and then add the shiitake mushrooms for a slight stir fry.
- 9. Add garlic and stir fry for 1 minute.
- 10. Add soy sauce, salt, and sugar.
- 11. Add an appropriate amount of water.
- 12. Pour the fried tofu into the pot and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 13. Then add green and red peppers.
- 14. Mix corn starch with a little water, pour it into tofu, mix well, and collect the juice.
- 15. Heat the iron plate on the stove and pour in a little sesame oil.
- 16. Place onion rings on top.
- 17. Put the stewed tofu into the iron plate and turn off the heat.
