葫芦瓜,又名葫芦、蒲瓜、夜开花和大葫芦等,属葫芦科一年生攀缘草本植物瓠瓜的变种,茎蔓生,叶心脏形,互生,夏秋开白花,果实的形状因种类而异,具体的说又分为瓠子、葫芦、和扁葫芦几种。

葫芦瓜性寒 味甘 入肺 胃 肾经;

具有清热利尿,除烦止渴,润肺止渴 消肿散结的功能;

主治水肿腹水 烦热口渴 疮毒 黄疸 淋病等病症

可用于辅助治疗水肿腹胀 烦热口渴黄疸 疮毒以及肾炎 肝硬化腹水等症。还有润肤的优点还能抗病毒防癌。
