There are various ingredients for sushi, and you can choose different ingredients according to your own preferences. This creative sushi adds fruit elements (dragon fruit) to make it more nutritious and healthy, with a delicious taste, eye-catching colors, easy to make, and a combination of visual and appetite.

Steps to make Creative sushi

  • 1. Braise an appropriate amount of rice, ensuring that the softness and hardness of the rice are moderate.
  • 2. Take out the rice and let it cool for later use.
  • 3. Slice the dragon fruit into slices for juice extraction.
  • 4. Use a blender to make juice.
  • 5. The juice produced is slightly thick and can be filtered out (without residue).
  • 6. Mix an appropriate amount of filtered dragon fruit juice with rice evenly.
  • 7. First, spread the sushi seaweed on a clean and waterless (glass cutting board at home) cutting board or other utensils, then evenly spread the rice on the sushi seaweed, cover the rice with a thin film, and gently roll it flat with a rolling pin. Cut the cucumber that has been washed and wiped off water into 4 slices and place them on top of the sushi rice.
  • 8. Put the skin of four cucumbers facing inward, add rice in the middle, and roll them into a square shape with a sushi curtain (as shown in the picture). I made it by hand (no sushi curtain was found), and cut the pieces with a sharp knife to present a beautiful pattern.
  • I also used a plum blossom shaped mold to create a beautiful flower.
  • 10. Another floral sushi, embellish the creative sushi with red plums (sliced).
