Steps to make Yuanyuan's Love Mooncakes

  • 1. Mix 400g of flour, 250g of syrup, 100g of peanut oil, and 7ml of alkaline water to form a dough.
  • 2. Because I used a grinding tool of 75g, I kneaded the skin into a ball of 35g and 40g filling
  • 3. Roll out the dough and wrap it outside the filling, sealing the opening.
  • 4. Use grinding tools to press mooncakes
  • 5.160 degrees Celsius, over high and low heat, bake for 5 minutes. Take out and brush the egg mixture on the surface, then put it in the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Hold it on your own and do not grill it.
  • 6. Cool the prepared mooncakes
  • 7. Once the mooncakes are ready, they will harden when left cool. They should be placed in a sealed space and oiled for 2 to 3 days before you can enjoy delicious mooncakes.
