Steps to make Homemade Tofu
- 1. Soak the fungus in water in advance, wash and set aside for later use
- 2. Slice carrots, green chili peppers, and red chili peppers separately
- 3. Cut the old tofu into triangular pieces about 1cm thick
- 4. Heat oil in a flat pan, add tofu slices and fry until both sides are golden brown. Remove and set aside
- 5. Heat oil in a pot, scoop a tablespoon of Douban Sauce and stir fry until red oil comes out. Add ginger slices and stir fry until fragrant
- 6. Pour in carrot slices, green chili peppers, red chili peppers, and black fungus and stir fry
- 7. Pour in the fried tofu chunks, add salt and sugar, and add a little water to cook for 1-2 minutes to make the tofu taste good
- 8. Finally, add water starch and stir fry, season with chicken essence, and add to the sauce over high heat!
