Steps to make Gongbao Tofu
- 1. Cut tofu into small pieces measuring one centimeter square for later use
- 2. Cut garlic sprouts into one centimeter long sections for later use
- 3. Cut chili peppers into sections
- 4. Cut scallions into small sections and ginger into thin shreds
- 5. Add oil to the pot, heat it up, and then add tofu for deep frying
- 6. Fry until golden brown on the surface, remove and drain oil for later use
- 7. Leave a little deep fried peanuts in the pot for later use
- 8. Mix cooking wine, light soy sauce, sugar, salt, and vinegar into a sauce
- 9. Leave the base oil in the pot and add scallions, ginger, and chili peppers until fragrant
- 10. Pour in the prepared juice
- 11. After the seasoning sauce boils, add the fried tofu and stir fry for a while
- 12. Add garlic sprouts and peanuts and stir fry
- 13. Mix a spoonful of starch with an appropriate amount of water to make water starch
- 14. Pour in water starch and thicken, stir fry evenly
- 15. Serve on a plate and sprinkle a little white sesame as decoration to enjoy
