Steps to make Japanese style simple sushi roll
- 1. Take an appropriate amount of leftover rice and put it into a bowl (preferably warm).
- 2. Take 3 spoons of white vinegar, 2 spoons of white sugar, and an appropriate amount of salt to make sushi vinegar. Then, mix the sushi rice evenly in a 1:6 ratio of sushi vinegar to rice.
- 3. Put proper amount of peanut oil in the pot and spread the eggs into egg cakes.
- 4. Cut ham sausage, egg cake, peppers and sushi root into strips as shown in the figure.
- 5. Take a piece of seaweed and spread it on a bamboo curtain, wear disposable gloves, and evenly spread the prepared sushi rice on top of the seaweed.
- 6. Lay the cut sushi root, ham sausage, peppers and egg pie on the sushi, as shown in the figure.
- 7. Then use a bamboo curtain to gently roll up the sushi from the inside out, being careful to roll it tightly so that the final sushi won't easily fall apart.
- 8. Roll up the sushi, remove the bamboo curtain, and lay it flat on the cutting board.
- Dip the blade in a little water, then cut the sushi with a knife and set it on a plate.
