腊八粥  (八宝粥)
腊八粥是一种在腊八节用由多种食材熬制的粥,也叫做七宝五味粥。腊八粥的习俗,已非佛门所有,作为一种民间风俗,农历十二月八日吃腊八粥,用以庆祝丰收,一直流传至今。最早的腊八粥是红小豆来煮,后经演变,加之地方特色,逐渐丰富多彩起来。腊八粥传说来自印度天竺,农历十二月初八是佛陀成道纪念日,俗称“腊八节”,在佛教称“法宝节”。
夏历十二月初八,中国主体民族汉族地区民间流传着吃“腊八粥”(有的地方是“腊八饭”)的风俗。在河南,腊八粥又称“大家饭”,是纪念民族英雄岳飞的一种节日食俗。据说当年岳家军讨伐金虏在朱仙镇节节胜利,却被朝廷的十二道金牌追逼回来,在回师路上,将士们又饥又饿,沿途的河南百姓纷纷把各家送来的饭菜倒在大锅里,熬煮成粥分给将士们充饥御寒,这天正好是腊月初八。随后岳飞遇害风波亭,为了怀念这位民族英雄,河南民众每逢腊八这天,家家都吃“大家饭”,以示怀念。
腊八粥作为腊八的习惯饮食,虽然有其典故,也有其真正的意义。每逢腊七腊八是一年当中气温最低的日子,人的体质也变的较弱,而简单的一款腊八粥却包含了和胃、补脾、养心、清肺、益肾、利肝、明目、安神、通便等作用,可谓是面面俱到,同时丰富的营养给为人体增强免疫力,提高耐寒指数

Steps to make 腊八粥 (八宝粥)

  • 1.八宝粥,准备八样主食材:小米、大米、江米(也叫糯米)、黑米、红豆、绿豆、花生、百合。
  • 2.搭配八颗红枣,八颗桂圆。
  • 3.把所有食材清洗干净,放进电饭煲,加适量的清水。
  • 4.煲粥模式3个小时左右。
  • 5.甜糯的腊八粥制作完成,营养丰富助消化,提高免疫力。
